Hey laaaaadies…shoes!

I shop at thrift stores and Target.

I haven’t had a paycheck in 2 months.

I clip coupons.

My momma taught me never to pay full price.

I am a cheapskate.

But tonight…

I BOUGHT THESE

Expensive? Yes.

Sensible? No.

Am I happy? Beyond.

Love,

Mads

Have you gone insane recently too?  What did you buy despite the economy?

  1. I went on a little shopping spree a few weeks ago at a store called The Buckle. I walked out of there with 2 hugs bags of clothes. Should I have? No. Am I happy I did? Yup. I shop on the clearance racks most of the time, so it was nice to buy clothes because I liked them, not because they were on sale.

  2. Nice work. They are beautiful. I would have to say the one thing I am willing to splurge on is shoes – I mean they are worth it to get good quality. Bad shoes can get you foot problems, therefore we are justified in making an investment – all for the health of our feet, and making them look pretty at the same time, of course 🙂 I would also say that shopping for deals most of the time frees me up to splurge when I see something I really want – makes it more fun and like a treat.
    Much love,

    • I agree. And well, I think we should splurge on most things. Like toilet paper, good makeup, and comfortable bedding.
But I typically make excuses for my spending habits regardless of necessity.

  3. It hasn’t been too recent, but I’ve been known to cave into the simplicity of online shopping! Especially with jcrew’s sale section! It’s done me in quite a few times!

    • Funny thing about that…I think the voicemail was attempt #3? I left a few and they all got deleted because they were too long. hahah That’s part of the reason I sounded so frantic.
